Salon Policies

Effective January 1, 2016

To ensure you have a wonderful experience at Metamorphosis we have a few policies we uphold. We want to give our best to each client and these policies help us do just that.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

  • All appointments will be booked through my online booking site vagaro.com, effective April 1, 2022. I will no longer take calls or text to schedule appointments. You may call the salon number for inquiries about availability, services and more but you will have to book your appointments online. There you will availability for services, salon hours and a full price list. This site will also send you reminders for your appointment via email, phone call and text. You will also be given the option to receive SMS messages. You will need to opt into to receive text reminders about your appointment. Refusal of this will delay scheduling of your appointment.
  • When you book online you will be asked to give valid credit card information. Your card will not be charged until one hour after your appointment time is completed if you choose to pay with a credit card that particular day. If you opt to pay with cash I will be able to go in and stop the processing of your card. This can be completed while you are still in the salon to avoid confusion. Refusal of this will delay scheduling of your appointment.
  • Services listed on our booking site are the only services currently offered. Please do not book just any service then request another upon arrival to your appointment. Example: Booking two strand twist then requesting a blowout.
  • Reminders will be sent via email, text or phone at your request through vagaro.com

AFTER HOURS AND SAME DAY SERVICE

  • If you need appointments after hours call the salon number for availability. There will be an extra fee of $50 for appointments after hours. Sundays are not permitted.
  • Same day appointment booking will be charged $20 in addition to the services rendered.

Cancellations, Late Policies and No Call No Shows

  • The salon has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel with a 24 hour notice you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service.
  • No Call No Shows will be charged 50% of the service scheduled. This is not refundable nor is it negotiable. After the 1st No Call No Show you will be advised to find another establishment to suit your hair care needs.
  • Clients should arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. You also have a 10 minute grace period to arrive for your appointment. After 10 minutes you will be charged $20 and you may not get the full allotted time for your service. This depends upon the bookings for that day. You will have the option to alter your service if necessary or reschedule for a later time that suits you. The late fee must be paid in full with total service ticket or client will not be booked again with Metamorphosis Salon.

I understand that life happens for you as it does for me. In the instance of emergencies, illness, inclement weather you will be exempt from the fees as your safety and health come first. Please contact me to communicate this or to cancel/reschedule your service.

CONSULTATIONS & SERVICES

  • Each new client will book a new client package which includes a consultation. Consultations are available for brides and for color services upon request. Color services are not optional for first time clients.
  • All service sales are final. If for some reason you are unhappy with your new look please call me within 24 hours of leaving your appointment. I will be happy to give you the same service complimentary to you at no charge. If you desire a different look you will be asked to pay the difference between both services.

Payment

Payments are accepted via cash or credit card. All credit cards are accepted. There will be a 3% charge for credit card payments starting January 1, 2016.

Visitors & Waiting Area

While Metamorphosis is a kid friendly salon, please keep in mind services start at ages 12 and up. Due to the small size of the salon and the desire to create an intimate atmosphere for all clients we request that no additional guests be present unless being serviced but if you must bring a guest but it is preferred they wait in the waiting areas inside the building.

Video & photo release/use of images.

Metamorphosis and Santresa ask that you participate in before and after photography/videography for marketing and promotional purposes. By making your reservations you authorize Metamorphosis and Santresa to use your images for marketing and promotional purposes.
