Metamorphosis attends Career Day at Burgaw Middle School
Metamorphosis had the opportunity to participate in Career Day at Burgaw Middle School in Burgaw, North Carolina early March.
The day was a hit with an amazing turnout from a large number of businesses and organizations that came to see the students.
It was amazing for the students who are interested in the beauty industry to ask questions about the hair care products, wigs, services offered, how the salon operates and how our owner Santresa became a stylist.
Santresa attended Burgaw Middle School and was more than happy to return at the request of the Assistant Principle and fellow classmate. It was important to give the students the opportunity to see different industries as possible career paths. It was also important for the students to see that some of these career paths were taken by people who attended their school and future high school.
"I remember telling my mother around 5th or 6th grade that I wanted to be a hairstylist when I grew up so this was a wonderful chance to let students ask questions who may be interested in the industry as well. It was also great to be back at my alma mater and see students from my hometown"
This is our second career day and we're excited to return for our 3rd next year.
